El Dia De Hoy

We have a new video for the album, Lo Único Constante, for the song El Dia De Hoy. Alex’s quote about the song from the album booklet writes – “Here is a song with a strong and clear message of hope, that talks about a new beginning, about starting again, focused on what really are our priorities and values, and doing that without rush or uncertainty.”

The video, produced by Facundo Gastiazoro and Taylor Fox (the creative team behind the Alex Cuba’s Latin Grammy winning video “Eres Tu”), the video follows a character evading pursuers looking for a special suitcase with incredible creatures inside. The noir themed cat and mouse video wants to expose the daily sensory oppression of our 24/7 connectivity and the barage of information that doesnt allow one to think or dream and how one must become like a criminal stealing moments, so that “the night allows us once again to dream”.

As we all battle the every day darkness take time to go within and trust those internal ideas and let go what isn’t yours such as advertising and sensationalism and drama of others. Remember to trust the daily actions of kindness to yourself and others are what makes a difference in the world.

Alex is currently on tour in the US with dates in Mexico and Canada throughout the summer.
